ABSTRACT A women's cross-training sports support belt, the support belt comprising a lumbar support central section (10) having a lower edge (12) which extends across the centre of the user's back below the level of the top of the user's hips. Side support sections (13, 14) with concave lower edges (15) extend in use around the user's sides and contour over the hips. An abdominal section (21, 22) supports the users muscles at the abdominal region. A releasable fastening means (25) enables the length of the belt to be selected from any value within a continuous range of lengths. The belt is made of a material having an outer flexible substantially inextensible structural layer (30) and an inner relatively soft resiliently compressible cushioning layer (31). 18
