This invention relates to a compatibilized rubber composition and a process for compatibilized polar/nonpolar rubber blends comprising blending functionalized EPDM or EP rubber with neoprene rubber and at least one nonpolar elastomer selected from the group including, but not limited to, EP and EPDM.
