The invention relates to the treatment of an immuno-compromised human, e.g., an AIDS or HIV positive patient, for the enhancement of lymphocyte activity against opportunistic microbial pathogens or the treatment of any human for the enhancement of lymphocyte activity against tumors using a lymphocyte- activity-enhancing amount of dextrofenfluramine or a pharmaceutically- acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
La présente invention se rapporte au traitement de sujets immunodéprimés, de patients atteints du SIDA ou VIH séropositifs par exemple, lequel traitement permet de stimuler l'activité des lymphocytes contre les pathogènes microbiens opportunistes ou de traiter tout sujet dans le but de stimuler l'activité des lymphocytes contre les tumeurs au moyen d'une quantité de dextrofenfluramine ou d'un sel d'addition acide pharmaceutiquement acceptable de cette dernière suffisante pour stimuler l'activité des lymphocytes.
