A polytrimethylene terephthalate polyester which is composed mainly of trimethylene terephthalate repeating units, contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of alkali metal compounds, alkaline earth metal compounds and manganese compounds in an amount of 10 to 150 ppm in terms of metal element(s), and satisfies the relationship (I): 0 <= P/M <= 1 (I) wherein P is the molar amount of phosphorus contained in the polyester; and M is the total molar amount of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and manganese contained therein.
Cette invention porte sur un polyester de polytriméthylène téréphtalate composé principalement d'unités récurrentes de triméthylène téréphtalate, et contenant au moins un composé sélectionné dans le groupe renfermant des composés métalliques alcalins, des composés métalliques alcalino-terreux ainsi que des composés de manganèse en une quantité comprise entre 10 et 150 ppm pour le ou les éléments métalliques, et correspondant à la relation (I) : 0 <= P/M <= 1, selon laquelle P est la quantité molaire de phosphore contenue dans le polyester, et M est la quantité molaire totale de métaux alcalins, de métaux alcalino-terreux et de manganèse contenus cette composition.
