There is provided a device (10) for monitoring sterilization of a material with steam comprising at least one layer (20), composed of polymeric binder (21), having incorporated therein an isomeric indicator (22) capable of undergoing at least one color change and optionally, a controller (23) for said indicator capable of influencing the time and temperature required for said color change when contacted with steam.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) permettant de contrôler la stérilisation à la vapeur d'une matière, ledit dispositif comprenant au moins une couche (20) composée d'un liant polymère (21), un indicateur isomère (22) pouvant subir au moins un changement de couleur, et facultativement un dispositif de commande (23) destiné audit indicateur et capable d'influencer le temps et la température nécessaires audit changement de couleur, lorsqu'il est en contact avec la chaleur.
