The present invention is directed to a collapsible garment hanger comprising: - a support portion including - a support at the top thereof; and - a bottom portion; - a center hinge; - two garment supporting members, each having: - a first end; and - a second end, wherein said garment supporting members are hingeably connected to one another at their first ends proximate the center hinge and are moveable in relation to the support portion; wherein said support portion extends upwardly from said center hinge, said bottom portion of the support portion is operably connected to the center hinge, and is adapted to move from a first position where it is abutted against the center hinge and where the garment supporting members extend downwardly away from the centre hinge, to a second position where the support portion is away from the center hinge and where the garment supporting members are in a second position where the garment supporting members extend generally laterally away from one another and the center hinge.
