The present invention relates to a novel adjuvant system comprising a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether or ester surfactant in combination with at least one additional non-ionic surfactant. Preferably said additional non-ionic surfactant is an Octoxynol (the TRITONTM series). The present invention provides said novel adjuvants, vaccines comprising them, and methods of their manufacture and their formulation into vaccines. The use of the adjuvants or vaccines of the present invention in the prophylaxis or therapy of disease is also provided.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau système adjuvant comprenant un tensioactif à base d'éther ou d'ester d'alkyle polyoxyéthylène combiné à au moins un tensioactif non ionique supplémentaire. Ce tensioactif non ionique est de préférence un octoxinol (série TRITON?TM¿). La présente invention concerne également ces nouveaux adjuvants, des vaccins les comprenant et des procédés destinés à leur préparation et leur formulation en vaccins. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation des ces adjuvants ou de ces vaccins dans la prophylaxie ou la thérapie de maladies.
