Using the program developed by the inventor, a unique honeycomb splice cell is employed by means of a computer's powerful calculation and storage capability. An image is decomposed into hexagon pixels at first. Then these pixels are composed into a large amount of honeycomb cells of various shapes, and then the honeycomb cells are spliced to recondition a complete desired image. After formation of the desired image which is composed of honeycomb cells, we can mechanically or manually select corresponding cells from various colors of prepared honeycomb cells to complete the splice of solid graph on the base plate, or to draw the color on the base plate directly according to the honeycomb cells.

Grâce au programme mis au point par l'inventeur, on n'a besoin, sur un ordinateur aux capacités puissantes de mémoire et de calcul, que d'une seule cellule alvéolaire d'épissure. Tout d'abord une image est décomposée en pixels hexagonaux, puis ces pixels sont recomposés en un grand nombre de cellules alvéolaires de formes diverses, lesquelles sont épissées pour restituer une image complète voulue. Après formation de cette image, composée de cellules alvéolaires, il est possible de choisir mécaniquement ou manuellement des cellules correspondantes à partir de diverses couleurs de cellules alvéolaires préparées, afin de compléter l'épissure du graphique tridimensionnel sur la plaque de base, ou apporter la couleur sur cette plaque directement, en fonction des cellules alvéolaires.
