A magnification apparatus for a media storage unit includes an elongate track along with means for attaching the track to a media storage unit. A magnifying glass is provided and a magnifying glass support which is adapted to support the magnifying glass. The support engages the track and is selectively movable along the track. The support is moved along the track to a selected position by a user in order to use the magnifying glass to magnify an identifying label on media stored in the media storage unit.
