The paint and brush holder has a base in which a reservoir for paint is formed. A limb extends upwardly from the base and a peg is attached to the top of the limb. The handle of a brush may be attached to the peg such that its bristles are directly above the reservoir and face downward. In one embodiment threads are formed on the outside wall of the limb for mating with threads formed on the wall of a bore formed in the holder so that the limb may be rotated relative to the holder. In another embodiment an number of parallel annular grooves are formed on the outside wall of the limb. A spring-loaded pin is attached to the base and the pin may be inserted into any one of the grooves. The limb may be rotated relative to the base and its height may be altered by removing the pin from one groove and inserting it in another groove.
