In a BD-ROM, there have been recorded AV-Clips and PL-Marks indicative of the beginning positions of the AV-Clips. Accesses to the beginning positions of the AV-Clips include three types of accesses that are based on a skip operation by a user, based on a chapter search operation and based on a Link command. Attribute information in marker information indicates whether, to the corresponding beginning position, only an access based on a branch command is permitted out of the foregoing three types of accesses or the accesses based on the skip operation and chapter search operation are permitted in addition to the access based on the branch command.

Les accès aux positions de début des clips comportent trois types d'accès qui reposent sur une opération de saut par un utilisateur, sur une opération de recherche et sur une commande "Link". Une information d'attribut dans l'information de marqueur indique si, à la position de début correspondante, l'accès n'est autorisé que sur la base d'une commande de branchement découlant des trois types précédents d'accus, ou si les accès peuvent se faire sur la base d'une opération de saut et d'une opération de recherche de chapitre en plus de l'accès sur la base de la commande de branchement.
