Choke for connection to a fluid flow passage for controlling fluid flow through the passage in a predetermined direction. The choke has means for attachment to the fluid passage. It also has an internal fluid flow passage, which has at least one constriction. One or more mesh filters are located in the internal fluid flow passage of the choke, upstream of the constriction, to remove debris from the fluid which would otherwise interfere with fluid flow through the orifice.

L'invention porte sur un étranglement à relier à un passage d'écoulement du fluide pour contrôler l'écoulement de ce dernier dans le passage dans un sens prédéterminé. L'étranglement comporte des éléments lui permettant de se fixer dans le passage à fluide. Il comprend également un passage interne d'écoulement de fluide, qui présente au moins une constriction. Un ou plusieurs filtres à treillis sont placés dans le passage interne d'écoulement du fluide de l'étranglement, en amont de la constriction, afin de retirer du fluide les débris qui autrement nuiraient à son écoulement à travers l'orifice.
