In a tool for applying drywall compound, otherwise known as 'mud', it is known to have a pump which will extrude, or cause to be forced, through a tube or hose of sufficient diameter as to exhaust at it's extremity the compound in a sufficient amount to adequately supply and deliver at a predetermined rate, the drywall compound to an applicator device designed by the inventor to apply said compound in a smooth and continuous manner to installed Gypsum board seams.
