ABSTRACT This invention relates to a weatherproof cover for a roof opening commonly known as a pitch pocket. A pitch pocket comprises of a short section of pipe open at the top and fastened and waterproofed to the roof structure at the bottom, and is provided to allow passage of electrical, gas and other services from within a building to equipment installed on the roof of a building. The opening is weatherproofed with pitch or roofing cement after all of the pipes and wires have been installed. Difficulty with this method is that a soft mastic material is used to try to seal an opening that has no top or bottom. This invention comprises of a weatherproof cover for a pitch pocket with a single or a multiple of fittings attached, with the fittings selectable to provide a weatherproof seal to any size, type and number or combination of sizes, types or numbers of pipes and wires required to pass through a roof opening.
