The invention relates to a method for producing plastic profiles. According to said method, at least two extruded profiles (20.1, 20.2) are produced simultaneously, each of said extruded profiles (20.1, 20.2) is then quenched and calibrated in at least one calibration instrument (13.1, 13.2; 23.1, 23.2; 33.1, 33.2), the essentially cooled profiles being conveyed by a caterpillar take-off unit (4) and the profiles are finally processed into profile sections in a separation device (6.1, 6.2). To improve the performance and increase the flexibility of said method, the two extruded profiles (20.1, 20.2) are calibrated in a first operating mode in separate calibration instruments (13.1, 13.2; 23.1, 23.2; 33.1, 33.2), the take-off speeds for the two extruded profiles (20.1, 20.2) being preferably set independently of one another and in a second operating mode a single extruded profile (20) is produced. The invention also relates to devices for carrying out said method.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire des profilés en plastique, selon lequel au moins deux profilés (20.1, 20.2) sont extrudés simultanément, puis chaque profilé (20.1, 20.2) est refroidi et calibré dans au moins un outil de calibrage (13.1, 13.2 ; 23.1, 23.2 ; 33.1, 33.2), les profilés sensiblement refroidis étant acheminés par une tireuse à chenilles (4), puis transformés en pièces profilées dans un dispositif de sectionnement (6.1, 6.2). Selon l'invention, pour accroître le rendement de ce procédé tout en augmentant sa flexibilité, les deux profilés (20.1, 20.2) sont calibrés dans des outils de calibrage séparés (13.1, 13.2 ; 23.1, 23.2 ; 33.1, 33.2) selon un premier mode de fonctionnement, les vitesses de tirage pour les deux profilés (20.1, 20.2) pouvant être de préférence définies individuellement, et un seul profilé (20) est produit selon un second mode de fonctionnement. L'invention concerne en outre des dispositifs permettant de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé.
