The invention relates to discount and prize distribution method and to a system for carrying out said method. The aim of said invention is to increase the interest of clients in buying at points of sale and in using services where they are provided by using the inventive system and method. The clients are attracted by that, while paying a good or service, a client could receive, with a certain probability, a product discount or a prize. For this purpose, the inventive system combines a price fixing means with means for generating a lottery sample in such a way that, while paying a good, a random sampling of elements is carried out and, when said sample coincides with a predetermined sample, the client takes the opportunity of discount. The probability of the occurrence of the predetermined combination can be modified in a manner which is external with respect to the system and according to different conditions by activating an input incorporated into the means for generating a lottery sample.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé destiné à offrir des rabais et distribuer des prix, et à un système permettant sa mise en oeuvre. Le but de l'invention est d'augmenter pour les clients l'intérêt de faire achats ou de recevoir des services dans des points de vente ou des endroits appropriés, à l'aide du système et du procédé selon l'invention. L'invention consiste à attirer les clients en leur offrant, lors du paiement d'une marchandise ou d'un service, une chance, selon une probabilité donnée, de bénéficier d'un rabais sur la marchandise qu'ils sont en train d'acheter ou de recevoir un prix. A cette fin, le système selon l'invention combine une unité de définition de prix avec une unité de génération d'échantillons par tirage au sort, de manière qu'un échantillonnage aléatoire d'éléments soit réalisé lors du règlement de l'achat, ce qui permet au client de bénéficier d'un rabais si ledit échantillonnage coïncide avec une combinaison prédéterminée. La probabilité que la combinaison prédéterminée sorte peut être modifiée de manière externe au système en fonction de diverses conditions, par l'activation d'une unité d'entrée contenue dans l'unité de génération d'échantillons par tirage au sort.
