The receptacle (5) is subdivided into cavities by radiating partitions and it encircles the cover (2), whilst being off- set with respect thereto. A key or wrench (63) makes it possible to rotate the radiating partitions and successively bring the cavities in front of the cover, so that it is poss- ible to successively fill the same when the receptacle is rotating. Application to the putting away and transportation of solid nuclear waste.
