ENDOPHOTOCOAGULATION PROBE ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure An endophotocoagulation probe assembly includes a probe tip, a handpiece and a coupling means for connecting the assembly to a laser energy source. Flexible tubing is provided between the handpiece and coupling means. The probe tip, handpiece, tubing and coupling include a passageway therethrough for an optic fiber to permit transmission of laser energy through the assembly and to the distal end of the probe tip. The probe tip includes graduations thereon to permit measurement of depth of penetration of the probe tip and includes a rounded circumferential edge and smooth distal end surface to minimize tearing or snagging of tissue during insertion of the probe assembly through an incision or the like.
