Flexible elastic element, used as a vehicle for transportation of a bulk material, accumulates tension during passing at each supporting point along its length. Over certain number of the supporting points the tension in the flexible elastic element could reach its technical limitations. This tension can be maintained at the acceptable level by using an intermediate drives. The intermediate drive moves the flexible elastic element by wrapping around the drive pulley. This requires certain level of the initial tension force. Lack of sufficient initial tension could cause slipping of the flexible elastic element on the drive pulley surface. This slipping effect can be avoided by continuous monitoring and adjustment of the initial tension. Without continuous adjustment of the initial tension force the irrational power sharing between the drives could take place and as result of it, inability of the flexible elastic element to handle the design capacity.
