If the TV signal processing section (106) is connected to another electronic device (11), the signal processing circuit (113) cooperates with the electronic device (11) as if they operated as one apparatus so as to carry out a processing most suitable for the input signal. An ID table stored in the controller (112) contains processing information concerning processings to be carried out with a corresponding electronic device. The processing information is related to the function ID of the corresponding electronic device.
