This invention provides a computer keyboard for use with a document scanner, the document scanner having a document path there through wherein: the keyboard has top, bottom, front, back and end walls; the top wall of said keyboard having an elongated configuration of keys thereon; a document compartment underlying the top wall of the keyboard, the longitudinal axis of the compartment being parallel to the longitudinal axis of the configuration of keys; the keyboard having mounting means for a document scanner to mount a document scanner laterally of an end wall thereof with the document path of the document scanner aligned to feed into the document port whereby documents from the scanner can enter said keyboard for stacking in said document compartment; and access means on said keyboard operable to remove documents from the document compartment in use.

Divulgation d'un clavier d'ordinateur à utiliser avec un scanneur de documents comportant un trajet emprunté par les documents analysés jusque dans le clavier. Le clavier comporte des parois supérieure, inférieure, avant, arrière et latérales. La paroi supérieure du clavier présente une configuration allongée de touches à sa surface. Un compartiment à documents lui est sous-jacent. L'axe longitudinal du compartiment est parallèle à l'axe longitudinal de la configuration des touches. Le clavier présente un dispositif pour le montage latéral d'un scanneur de documents à une de ses extrémités, le trajet des documents à analyser étant aligné de sorte que les documents entrent par le point d'entrée dans le clavier où ils s'empilent dans le plateau prévu à cette fin. Au moyen de dispositifs sur le clavier, on peut accéder à ces derniers pour les retirer du compartiment dans lequel ils sont empilés.
