The splint (1) comprises two lateral shells (2, 3), each of which is provided respectively with two pockets (12, 13) which are inflatable by air, located to the left and right sides of the ankle, with straps (4, 5) connecting the two shells (2, 3) to close the splint (1) around the ankle. The two pockets (12, 13), to the left and right respectively, are provided with an inflation means (17, 18, 19) common to said two pockets with a single inflation valve (19). Said two pockets (12, 13) are provided with connecting points or lines (21) between the two opposing walls (14, 15) thereof in the upper half of said pockets in order to limit the degree of inflation in this region. Said splint (1) is applicable for the treatment of twisted ankles.
L'attelle (1) comprend deux coques latérales (2, 3), auxquelles sont associées respectivement deux poches (12, 13) gonflables avec de l'air, qui prennent place sur les côtés droit et gauche de la cheville, tandis que des sangles (4, 5) relient les deux coques (2, 3) et assurent le serrage de l'attelle (1) autour de la cheville. Les deux poches (12, 13), respectivement droite et gauche, sont munies de moyens de gonflage (17, 18, 19) communs à ces deux poches, avec une valve de gonflage (19) unique. Dans leur moitié supérieure, les deux poches gonflables (12, 13) comportent des points ou lignes de liaison (21) entre leurs deux parois opposées (14, 15), de manière à limiter dans cette zone le degré de gonflage. Cette attelle (1) est applicable au traitement des entorses de la cheville.
