ABSTRACT A method of forming a polymeric polyblend the steps of the method comprising blending a vinylidene chloride interpolymer and a graft copolymer. The graft copolymer is formed from a polymerizable mixture com- prising a comonomer mixture and a preformed polymer which is capable of imbibing the comonomer mixture. The preformed polymer is allowed to contact the comonomer mixture for a length of time and at a temperature such that a selected amount of the comonomer mixture is imbibed therein, and then the polymerizable mixture is polymerized.
