A method for regenerating ionic exchange resins (3) used for softening water and a device for softening water. A flow of brine (S) is fed into a housing compartment (2) of the resins (3) at a determined velocity and subsequently a first flow of water alone is fed at a lower velocity than the velocity of the flow of brine (S). Said velocities are determined by a ratio between the passage section of a respective throat (8) for feeding the water, and the passage section of a nozzle (10) for feeding the brine (S).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de régénérer des résines échangeuses d'ions (3) utilisées pour adoucir l'eau et un dispositif permettant d'adoucir l'eau. Dans ce procédé, un flux de saumure (S) est introduit dans un compartiment (2) du logement prévu pour les résines (3) à une vitesse déterminée, puis un premier flux d'eau est introduit à une vitesse inférieure à celle du flux de saumure (S). Ces vitesses sont déterminées sur la base du rapport entre la section du passage d'eau d'une gorge (8) respective et la section du passage de saumure (S) d'une buse (10).
