A fastening component for endo-tracheal tubes consisting of a rectangular cloth tape having at its ends, adhesive portions of hook and loop fasteners, such as Velcro TM fasteners, defining the respective closure, whilst on the tape there is a side area with adhesive over which the endo-tracheal tube is arranged, the two parts of the tape crossing around the tube and then the tape is fixed around the patient's head.
