A method to indicate that the heating unit (block heater or in line heater) for vehicles and/or equipment is in fact receiving power. The indicator could be a uncontrolled light or it could be light controlled by a mercury switch, intermittent switch, timer or through a transformer converting the power to 12 volt enabling you could use one of the accessories already on the vehicle to indicate the heater is receiving power. Additionally the indicator could be an audible indicator or an interior car warmer with some indication that it is working i.e. power light, fan running, etc.
