Abstract of the Disclosure Methods of completing a well bore having a conduit disposed therein where portions of the well bore and conduit are positioned substantially horizontally in a subterranean producing formation are provided. A hardenable resin composition coated particulate solid material is placed in the annulus between the sides of the well bore and the conduit, and the resin composition is caused to harden whereby the particulate material is consolidated into a hard permeable mass. An aqueous cement slurry is introduced into the permeable consolidated particulate material whereby horizontal sections thereof are isolated which allows tests and/or treatments in selected portions of the horizontal well to be performed.
