Abstract of the Disclosure The disclosure describes an artificial venous valve which allows unidirectional flow. The valve is intended for Inserting into human venous system. It is designed to permit a centripetal unidirectional flow of blood by means of the movement of a plate which is inserted in a cylindrical or cylindroid support. The operation of the valve is actuated by variations in the pressure gradient on the upstream and downstream side of the valve.
