The present invention provides dispensing apparatus for delivering metered doses of product from a pressurised dispensing container comprising: a housing for receiving a pressurised dispensing container; a dose counting mechanism comprising indication means for displaying to a user an indication associated with the number or quantity of doses dispensed from, or the number or quantity of doses remaining in, the received pressurised dispensing container; the dose counting mechanism further comprising an indexing mechanism for advancing the indication means on actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container; wherein the dispensing apparatus comprises an indexing member capable of moving within the housing in sync with the received pressurised dispensing container; wherein on actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container in a normal mode of operation the indexing member is able to interface with the indexing mechanism to apply a force to the indexing mechanism sufficient to incrementally advance the indication means; wherein the eventuality that the indexing mechanism or the indication means is jammed so as to prevent advancement, the indexing member and the indexing mechanism are enabled to move relative to one another in such a way to allow the indexing member to bypass the indexing mechanism to allow actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container.
La présente invention concerne un distributeur-doseur permettant de fournir des doses mesurées de produit à partir d'un récipient de distribution sous pression comprenant : un logement conçu de façon à recevoir un récipient de distribution sous pression; un mécanisme destiné à compter les doses et comprenant un moyen d'indication pour indiquer à l'utilisateur le nombre ou la quantité de doses distribuées par le récipient de distribution sous pression reçu ou le nombre ou la quantité de doses restantes dans celui-ci; le mécanisme destiné à compter les doses comprend en outre un mécanisme d'indexation pour faire avancer le moyen d'indication dès l'actionnement du récipient de distribution sous pression reçu; le distributeur-doseur comprend un élément d'indexation capable de se déplacer à l'intérieur du logement en synchronisation avec le récipient de distribution sous pression reçu; dès l'actionnement de ce dernier dans un mode normal de fonctionnement, l'élément d'indexation est apte à servir d'interface avec le mécanisme d'indexation pour appliquer une force suffisante au mécanisme d'indexation pour faire avancer par incréments le moyen d'indication; dans l'éventualité que le mécanisme d'indexation ou le moyen d'indication soit bloqué, empêchant ainsi tout l'avancement, l'élément d'indexation et le mécanisme d'indexation peuvent se déplacer l'un par rapport à l'autre de manière à permettre à l'élément d'indexation de contourner le mécanisme d'indexation pour permettre l'actionnement du récipient de distribution sous pression reçu.
