The current invention provides a method for determining the rheology of a mixture of gelled hydrocarbon and liquid carbon dioxide. The method of the current invention precludes the negative impact of the Weissenberg effect when determining the rheology of a non- Newtonian fluid. Additionally, the method of the current invention produces a homogenous mixture without generating the Weissenberg effect.
