A unitary product cushioning device (12, 50, 80, 90, 110, 150) is provided for supporting a shock sensitive product (14) in an outer packaging container (16), and is formed of a moldable resilient plastics material. The device comprises a post structure (26, 26a, 34, 110, 152), with a first closed end (32, 32a, 154) and a second open end (38, 38a, 56, 160), with the open end having a curved ridge formed at at least a first side of the post structure, and terminating in a container contacting flange at the end of the curved ridge remote from the open end. A portion of the curved ridge presents a product supporting surface (40, 40a, 44, 44a, 162); and a further portion of the curved ridge is curved in a direction outwardly and away from the post structure. There may be a container contacting surface near the closed end of the post structure.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de calage pour produit monobloc (12, 50, 80, 90, 110, 150) sur lequel un produit sensible aux chocs (14), situé dans un récipient d'emballage extérieur (16), est destiné à être posé, ce dispositif étant fabriqué dans une matière plastique élastique moulable. Ce dispositif comprend une structure montant (26, 26a, 34, 110, 152) avec une première extrémité fermée (32, 32a, 154) et une seconde extrémité ouverte (38, 38a, 56, 160), cette extrémité ouverte présentant une nervure arrondie sur au moins un premier coté de ladite structure montant, cette nervure formant un rebord, en contact avec le récipient, au niveau de l'extrémité de la nervure arrondie éloignée de l'extrémité ouverte. Une partie de cette nervure arrondie présente par ailleurs une surface (40, 40a, 44, 44a, 162) sur laquelle un produit est destiné à être posé, une autre partie de cette nervure étant arrondie vers l'extérieur et à l'écart de la structure montant. Enfin, une surface en contact avec le récipient peut être formée à proximité de l'extrémité ouverte de ladite structure montant.
