The present invention provides a method for assaying an ability to control the neurocyte plasticity which is dependent on a transcription regulatory factor comprising any of the amino acid sequences selected for example from the amino acid sequence group consisting of the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID Nos.1 to 3 comprising the steps: (1) a first step for bringing a test substance into contact with a mammalian cell expressing the transcription regulatory factor; and, (2) a second step, after the first step, for measuring the expression level of a marker protein gene present on the transcription regulatory factor-dependent neurocyte plasticising pathway in the mammalian cell or an index value correlating with the level; and, (3) a step for evaluating the ability possessed by the test substance based on the expression level or the index value correlating with the level measured in the second step, and the like.

L'invention concerne une méthode permettant d'examiner la capacité à contrôler la plasticité des cellules nerveuses en fonction d'un régulateur transcriptionnel comportant une séquence d'acides aminés sélectionnée dans le groupe de séquences d'acides aminés contenant les séquences d'acides aminés représentées par SEQ ID NOS : 1 à 3, etc. Cette méthode consiste à : (1) mettre d'abord une substance d'essai en contact avec des cellules mammifères exprimant le régulateur transcriptionnel précité ; (2) mesurer ensuite un indice de corrélation avec la dose d'expression d'un gène marqueur localisé dans le processus de plastification de cellules nerveuses dépendant du régulateur transcriptionnel, ou sa valeur sans les cellules mammifères ; et enfin, (3) estimer la capacité de la substance d'essai sur la base de l'indice de corrélation avec la dose d'expression ou sa valeur mesurée dans la seconde opération.
