The invention concerns a method for suppressing in a multipath signal receiver, characterized in that it consists in forming around the main antenna sensor (1) a network of 2n auxiliary sensors (2, 3, Ca to Cf), with n >= 3, said auxiliary sensors being all equidistant from the main sensor and uniformly spaced apart from one another, and, taking successively the pairs of auxiliary sensors symmetrical relative to the main sensor to determine the arrival direction of the multipath signal from, in performing a weighted combination of the signals derived from the n sensors, the direction of the transmitter being known (e?j.phi.i¿).

Procédé d'élimination dans un récepteur d'un signal incident résultant de trajets multiples, caractérisé par le fait qu'on constitue autour d'un capteur principal (1) d'antenne un réseau de 2n capteurs auxiliaires (2, 3, Ca à Cf), avec n >= 3, ces capteurs auxiliaires étant tous équidistants du capteur principal et régulièrement espacés entre eux, et, en prenant successivement les couples de capteurs auxiliaires symétriques par rapport au capteur principal pour déterminer la direction d'arrivée du signal résultant des trajets multiples, on effectue la combinaison pondérée des signaux issus des n capteurs, la direction de l'émetteur étant connue (ej.phi.i).
