The present invention relates to novel methods for the diagnosis and therapy of lymphoproliferative diseases. Specifically, the present invention relates to novel methods for the diagnosis and therapy taking advantage of the detection of chromosomal breakpoints in chromosome (12) and/or translocation of chromosomal material from chromosome (12), said chromosomal breakpoints and/or translocation(s) being associated with lymphoproliferative diseases, such as primary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL). The present invention further relates to the use of neuron navigator 3 gene (NAV3) or an equivalent or functional fragment thereof involved in chromosomal breakpoints in chromosome (12) and/or translocations thereof, said gene and/or translocations thereof being associated with lymphoproliferative diseases, such as primary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL), as a diagnostic and therapeutic agent. The present invention also relates to the development of therapy.
La présente invention concerne de nouvelles méthodes destinées au diagnostic et à la thérapie de maladies lymphoprolifératives. Notamment, cette invention a trait à de nouvelles méthodes de diagnostic et de thérapie tirant profit de la détection de points de cassure chromosomiques dans le chromosome 12 et/ou de la translocation de matière chromosomique à partir du chromosome 12, lesdits points de cassure chromosomiques et/ou les translocations étant liés/liées aux maladies lymphoprolifératives, telles que les lymphomes de lymphocytes T cutanés primaires. Ladite invention a également pour objet l'utilisation du gène <= navigateur 3 de neurones>= (NAV3) ou un fragment équivalent ou fonctionnel correspondant impliqué dans des points de cassure chromosomiques dans le chromosome 12 et/ou des translocations correspondantes, ledit gène et/ou lesdites translocations étant lié/liées aux maladies lymphoprolifératives, telles que les lymphomes de lymphocytes T cutanés primaires, en tant qu'agent diagnostique et thérapeutique. Cette invention concerne, en outre, la mise au point d'une thérapie.
