Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a tablet suitable for dissolution in the buccal cavity, said composition comprising i) an effective amount of a narcotic active ingredient, and ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable amine having a pK of about 8 or greater, wherein the molar ratio of amine:active ingredient is at least about 5:1.

L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique sous la forme d'un comprimé pouvant se dissoudre dans la cavité buccale. Cette composition comprend (i) une dose efficace d'un ingrédient actif narcotique, et (ii) une amine pharmaceutiquement acceptable présentant une valeur pK supérieure ou égale à environ 8, le rapport molaire entre l'amine et l'ingrédient actif étant d'au moins environ 5:1.
