An actuator for operating a valve comprises a housing, a cap, a ring, and a piston. The housing has a connecting interface for being mounted on the valve. The cap substantially covers a first portion of the housing. Both the cap and the housing define a substantially enclosed space inside the housing. The ring sealably covers a second portion of the housing. The ring is equipped with two ports that are in fluid communication with the enclosed space. The piston is slidably located inside the housing. Advantageously, an actuator assembly may include the actuator as previously described and one bonnet, one of the connecting interfaces of the actuator being connected to the bonnet. The bonnet is adapted to be mounted to a valve body.

L'invention porte sur un actionneur, pour commander une vanne, qui comporte un boîtier, un capuchon, une bague et un piston. Le boîtier présente une interface de liaison pour être monté sur la vanne. Le capuchon couvre sensiblement une première partie du boîtier. Le capuchon et le boîtier définissent tous deux un espace sensiblement clos à l'intérieur du boîtier. La bague couvre de manière étanche une seconde partie du boîtier. La bague est équipée de deux orifices qui sont en communication de fluide avec l'espace clos. Le piston est situé de manière coulissante à l'intérieur du boîtier. Avantageusement, un ensemble actionneur peut comprendre l'actionneur tel que décrit précédemment et un couvercle, l'une des interfaces de liaison de l'actionneur étant reliée au couvercle. Le couvercle est conçu pour être monté sur un corps de vanne.
