A description follows of ligands having general formula (I) wherein R~1, R~2, R~3, R~4, R~5, and R~6, the same or different, are selected form hydrogen, halogen, C~1-C~10 alkyl, C~6-C~15 aryl optionally halogenated, or adjacent pairs of R~i groups (with i ranging from 1 to 6) are bound to each other to give cyclic hydrocarbon structures condensed with the thiophene or pyridine ring; R~7 is selected from H, C~1-C~10 alkyl, C~6-C~15 aryl; R~8 is selected from C~1-C~10 alkyl and C~6-C~15 aryl. The complexes of the above ligands with transition metals are also described.

L'invention concerne des ligands représentés par la formule générale (1) dans laquelle R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, et R6, identiques ou différents, sont choisis dans le groupe comprenant hydrogène, halogène, alkyle C1-C10, aryle C6-C15 éventuellement halogéné, ou des paires adjacentes de groupes Ri (i étant compris dans la plage allant de 1 à 6) sont liées les unes aux autres pour former des structures d'hydrocarbure cyclique condensées avec l'anneau thiophène ou pyridine, R7 est choisi dans le groupe comprenant H, alkyle C1-C10, aryle C6-C15, R8 est choisi dans le groupe comprenant alkyle C1 -C10 et aryle C6-C15. L'invention concerne également les complexes des ligands susmentionnés et de métaux de transition.
