A b s t r a c t The cone-type clamping arrangement (100) is arranged in the intermediate space (2) between the external circum- ference (4) of a shaft (1) and the internal circumference (5) of the bore of an external member (3). It comprises a double-cone member (A), a cone ring (B) arranged on the first cone surface (9) of the double-cone member (A), and, arranged on the second cone surface (11) of the double-cone member (A), a cone member (C) which has an axial extension (22) with cylindrical internal circum- ferential surface (23), which extension overlaps the cylindrical external circumferential surface (17) of the cone ring (B) and forms an overlap (D). During clamping, friction only occurs on three surface pairs. During loosening, the cone ring (B) is supported, with a radial circumferential projection (18), on the flank (13') of a circumferential groove (13) of the double-cone member (A)- (Fig. 1)
