An industrial dust collector which combines pleated filter cartridges of a resilient material such as thermoformable spun- bonded polyester media, and a continuous flow of cleaning air that is periodically passed through such filter media in a reverse direction to the normal air flow to expand the filter media and dislodge foreign matter collected in the pleats of the filter media.
