The invention concerns a method of producing bristled articles, in particular brushes, a plurality of blind holes being formed in a thermoplastics bristle carrier. A thermoplastics bristle arrangement in the form of an individual bristle or a bundle of bristles is inserted into each of the blind holes, preferably with a narrow fit, until it contacts the base of the blind hole. The bristle carrier and the bristle arrangement are then welded to each other in their contact region in that laser beams are transmitted through the bristle carrier or bristle arrangement and applied directly to the contact region where they are absorbed and heat is produced.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'articles de brosserie, notamment de brosses. Selon ce procédé, on pratique dans un support de poils en matériau thermoplastique plusieurs trous borgnes dans chacun desquels est introduit un élément de poil de brosserie sous forme de poil individuel ou de faisceau de poils, de préférence en ajustement étroit, jusqu'à ce que ledit élément touche le fond du trou borgne. Le support de poils et les éléments de poils de brosserie sont ensuite soudés mutuellement dans leur section de contact, par transmission de faisceaux laser à travers le support de poils ou les éléments de poils de brosserie, lesdits faisceaux laser étant appliqués directement sur la section de contact où ils sont absorbés avec un dégagement de chaleur.
