Integrated in the part of the layer facing the driver, in the region of the spokes (2) and/or the dished boss (4), is at least one touch pad (5) connected to the electromechanical slip ring. In order to ensure reliable operation, the touch pad (5) comprises a contact plate (10) located on the side nearest the steering wheel, a semiconducting-polymer foil (8) lying directly over the contact plate and a conductor-track foil (9) lying directly over the semiconducting-polymer foil on the side facing the driver.
