Processes for the synthesis of lipochitooligosaccharides were developed. A fully acylated oligoglucosamine precursor is prepared and reacted with a glucosamine monomer that has an amine protecting phthaloyl group. With removal of the phthaloyl group, a fatty acid may be added on the terminal glucosamine unit, forming a lipochitooligosaccharide. The processes can be adapted for use on a commercial scale.
L'invention concerne des procédés de synthèse de lipochitooligosaccharides. On prépare un précurseur oligoglucosamine entièrement acylé et on le fait réagir avec un monomère glucosamine portant un groupe phtaloyle protégeant la fonction amine. L'élimination du groupe phtaloyle permet d'ajouter un acide gras sur l'unité glucosamine terminale, pour ainsi former un lipochitooligosaccharide. Les procédés décrits peuvent être adaptés pour un usage à échelle commerciale.
