A method in injection moulding wherein the plastic material is being screw plasticized and piston injected and wherein the plasticized plastic material is supplied to the piston injection cylinder (18) during the return of the injection piston (19). The plasticizing screw (12) is rotating continuously in a fixed axial position in the plasticizing cylinder (10) the pressurized plastic material being temporarily stored in a pressurized space (26) during the operating stroke of the injection piston in order to be supplied during the return of the injection piston from said space to the injection cylinder together with plasticized plastic material supplied directly from the plasticizing screw (12) to the injection cylinder. An injection moulding machine for working the method comprises a screw plasticizing cylinder (10) and a piston injection cylinder (18) connected to the outlet of the screw plasticizing cylinder via a non-return valve. A charging cylinder (26) having a pressurized piston (27) is connected directly to the outlet of the plasticizing cylinder, said charging cylinder communicating also with the piston injection cylinder via the non-return valve.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de moulage par injection selon lequel le matériau plastique est plastifié par une vis sans fin puis injecté par un piston, le matériau plastifié alimentant le cylindre du piston d'injection (19) pendant la course de retour dudit piston. La vis (12) tourne constamment dans une position axiale fixe à l'intérieur du cylindre de plastification (10), le matériau plastique sous pression est stocké temporairement dans un espace sous pression (26) pendant la course de travail du piston d'injection, pour remplir le cylindre d'injection lors de la course de retour du piston en se joignant au matériau plastifié provenant directement de la vis de plastification (12). L'invention porte également sur une presse d'injection pour mettre en oeuvre ledit procédé, qui comporte un cylindre de plastification (10) avec une vis, un cylindre (18) contenant le piston d'injection relié à la sortie du cylindre de plastification par un clapet antiretour. Un cylindre chargeur (26) comportant un piston sous pression (27) est directement relié à la sortie du cylindre de plastification qui communique également par le clapet antiretour avec le cylindre contenant le piston d'injection.
