The present invention comprises processes for preparing biodegradable fibrils from one or more biodegradable homopolymeric or copolymeric resins, said process comprising: a) forming a liquid resin mixture by melting or solvating the resin or resins; and b) introducing the liquid resin mixture to a flow of a gaseous substance. The present invention further comprises biodegradable fibrils made according to the processes of the present invention. The invention further comprises nonwoven fabrics comprising biodegradable fibrils. The invention further comprises disposable absorbent articles comprising a water-permeable topsheet, an absorbent core, and a water-impermeable backsheet, wherein the topsheet comprises a nonwoven substrate comprising biodegradable fibrils. The invention further comprises disposable articles comprising biodegradable fibrils.
La présente invention se rapporte à des procédés de production de fibrilles biodégradables à partir d'une ou de plusieurs résines homopolymères ou copolymères biodégradables, ce procédé consistant (a) à former un mélange résineux liquide par fusion ou par solvatation de la ou des résines; et (b) à mettre le mélange résineux liquide en contact avec un écoulement d'une substance gazeuse. L'invention se rapporte également aux fibrilles biodégradables préparées selon les procédés précités, ainsi qu'à des non-tissés comprenant ces fibrilles. L'invention porte par ailleurs sur un article absorbant jetable comprenant une feuille supérieure perméable à l'eau, une partie centrale absorbante, ainsi qu'une feuille support imperméable à l'eau, la feuille supérieure comprenant un substrat non tissé constitué des fibrilles biodégradables selon la présente invention. Celle-ci se rapporte en outre à des articles jetables comprenant lesdites fibrilles biodégradables.
