The present invention relates to a method for the production of .beta.-ketonitriles of the general formula (I), with R1, among other things, being C1-C12-alkyl, C2-C12-alkenyl, C2-C12-alkinyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenoxy-C1-C4-alkyl or benzyloxy-C1-C4-alkyl; R2, among other things, being hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl, C2-C12-alkenyl, C2-C12-alkinyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenoxy-C1-C4-alkyl or benzyloxy-C1-C4-alkyl, comprising the reaction of a nitrile of the formula (II), with R1 having one of the meanings described above, comprising a carboxylic acid ester of the formula (III), with R2 having the meanings described above, and R3 being C1-C12-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenyl-C1-C4-alkyl, phenoxy-C1-C4-alkyl or benzyloxy-C1-C4-alkyl, wherein the reaction is performed in the presence of a potassium alkoxide and at least 80% of the nitrile of the formula (II) is fed to the reaction under reaction conditions.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à produire des .beta.-cétonitriles de formule générale (I) dans laquelle R1 représente, entre autres, alkyle C1-C12, alcényle C2-C12, alcynyle C2-C12, cycloalkyle C3-C8, cycloalkyle C3-C8-alkyle C1-C4, phénylalkyle C1-C4, phénoxyalkyle C1-C4 ou benzyloxyalkyle C1-C4 et R2 représente, entre autres, hydrogène, alkyle C1-C12, alcényle C2-C12, alcynyle C2-C12, cycloalkyle C3-C8, cycloalkyle C3-C8-alkyle C1-C4, phényle, phénylalkyle C1-C4, phénoxyalkyle C1-C4 ou benzyloxyalkyle C1-C4. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend la réaction d'un nitrile de formule (II), dans laquelle R1 a l'une des significations susmentionnées, avec un ester d'acide carboxylique de formule (III), dans laquelle R2 a l'une des significations susmentionnées et R3 représente alkyle C1-C12, alcoxy C1-C4-alkyle C1-C4, cycloalkyle C3-C8, cycloalkyle C3-C8-alkyle C1-C4, phénylalkyle C1-C4, phénoxyalkyle C1-C4 ou benzyloxyalkyle C1-C4, la réaction étant exécutée en présence d'un alcoolate de potassium et au moins 80 % du nitrile de formule (II) étant amenés à la réaction dans des conditions de réaction.
