The invention relates to a closed insulating box of rectangular parallelepiped shape, flattened from two principal opposite faces, separated by four lateral faces; according to the invention, the six walls of its outer envelope are rigid, of modest thickness, and made of a strong material, of which at least one of the principal faces is perforated by micropores (12), the said principal faces being connected by at least one internal stiffener (3) and its internal volume delimited by its envelope, is filled with rigid fragments of a granular cellular material (11), of density less than 1, and with good thermal insulation value.

La présente invention a pour objet un caisson isolant fermé de forme parallélépipédique rectangle, aplati selon deux faces principales en vis-à-vis, séparées par quatre faces dites latérales; suivant l'invention, les six parois de son enveloppe extérieure sont rigides, de faible épaisseur, et réalisées en matériau résistant, dont au moins une de celles dites principales, est perforée par des microtrous (12), lesquelles faces principales sont reliées par au moins un raidisseur interne (3) et son volume interne délimité par son enveloppe, est rempli de fragments rigides d'un matériau granuleux (11) à structure alvéolaire, de densité inférieure à 1, et d'une bonne capacité d'isolation thermique.
