ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for recording a digital signal having a plurality of kinds is comprised of a plurality of rotary heads being located with a predetermined distance both in a track pitch direction and in a head scanning direction and integrally formed as one body, and a record device for supplying the rotary heads with the digital signal to record thereof on a magnetic tape, wherein the digital signal of each kind in one track is recorded with a difference of the predetermined distance in a head scanning direction for the digital signal of the same kind recorded in another neighboring track.
