The present invention relates to an Electro-Magnetic Induction-Driven Piston compressor. Various devices have been previously proposed for compressing gases or air, reciprocation, Screw and Centrifugal compressors. In practice however, these devices have proven weaknesses either at the point of the gas packing gland, or the sealing devices where the shaft enters the unit. The gas packing or seals try to prevent the high pressure and in certain cases dangerous gases from leaking into the atmosphere, causing premature shutdown of tile unit. Therefore, it is the object of the present invention to prevent one or more of the above mentioned weaknesses and disadvantages.
