The reservation is updated as the status of the source of supply changes (440). As a result, the user has complete visibility for modeling the entire supply chain as material moves from one location to another.

L'invention a trait à un procédé de gestion d'une chaîne d'approvisionnement, qui assure la mise en correspondance de chaque demande et de sa source d'approvisionnement respective. Ledit procédé consiste à établir une réservation entre une demande et une offre. La réservation est mise à jour au fil des modifications de l'état de la source d'approvisionnement. De ce fait, l'utilisateur dispose d'une pleine visibilité permettant de modéliser l'ensemble de la chaîne d'approvisionnement à mesure que la matière est déplacée d'un lieu à un autre.
