ABSTRACT A method and device for rolling coins has a plastic tube with a first end and second end with a stopper inserted into the second end. The stopper closes off said end and is tapered to an upper surface. When it is desired to roll coins, a conventional paper wrapper is rolled into a cylinder and inserted into the tube until an inner end of the paper wrapper surrounds the upper surface and extends beyond the surface towards the second end. Next, the tube and paper wrapper are filled with coins, the first coin lying flat on the upper surface and the last coin being flush with the first end of the tube. The end of the wrapper at the first end of the tube is then folded, the coin roller is inverted and the wrapper and column of coins contained therein are removed from the roller. The remaining end of the wrapper is then folded to enclose the coins. A different size of coin roller is used for each size of coins. The coin roller can be used repeatedly to roll coins of the same size into cylindrically shaped rolls contained in a conventional paper wrapper.
